Dear Motorhead:
I’m selling my wife’s sled this fall & was wondering what the best online forum would be & what, in your expert opinion it might be worth.
I’ts a 2004 Polaris Super Sport 550 Fan. It has 4500 miles on it. I’ve upgraded to a tall windshield, added mirrors, plastic skis & studded the track.
Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

There are several ways to sell your sled online or in print. Of
course, you can always place it in Auto Trader and it will automatically
show up on autottrader.ca classified under ‘snowmobiles to sell’.
There’s another very good way to market your sled, though, and it’s a
bit cheaper and will actually put money back on the trails. Check out
Sleds2Buy.com.
This excellent website run by the Canadian Congress of Snowmobile organizations will photo list your sled for an extended period at a very reasonable price and is starting to get very good results. Every ad placed on the site returns money to the CCSO in an effort to build better trails.
Think about it. This site has one of the best search engines we’ve seen for this type of thing and also has sub-sites for selling ATVs, watercraft, motorcycles and boats.
