There are a number of add-on seat kits available from the OEMs and the aftermarket and they can add tremendous versatility to your ride.
Some sleds, like the XP Ski-Doo, have dimpled marks placed on the tunnel so you can find exactly where to drill to mount the factory designed hardware for the extra seat.
We’ve found these seats to be very durable, fairly light and comfortable for an extra passenger on short and medium length trips.
Since they are only used occasionally, they usually don’t require additional hand heaters or backrests.
If you require 2-up seating once in a while, these kits are invaluable and offer much more safety than crowding the driving area when an extra rider is on board.
