Press Release –

Performance Refined 4-Stroke

Winterize your convertible, but not the spirit! The Z1 4-stroke motor in the Jaguar is the first power plant specifically designed for a snowmobile. What’s the end result? A performance refined lay down 4-stroke that makes you ride better, faster and longer.

The all-new Z1, boasts 1100cc, 125 horsepower, in a naturally aspirated motor delivering loads of power and torque in a compact package, strategically placed for mass centralization within the chassis for ultimate performance trail handling.

Multi-port fuel injection aids in precise fuel delivery, while the new ACT Diamond direct drive system puts the power to the ground while moving forward, as well as back, with the addition of push button reverse.

The Z1 Jaguar sets a new standard in the Arctic Cat Performance category. This ultra-quiet snowmobile not only delivers the smoothest 4-stroke power, but has the best ergonomics in the industry as well as fit and finish that is bar none – the best!

The Infinite Rider Positioning system (IRP) can accommodate an infinite number of rider positions for a multitude of rider sizes and riding styles. The seven adjustment seat structure allows you to move your seat forward over three inches, while moving it vertical over two inches with one hand adjustment

You’ve seen adjustable handlebars, but none this simple and ergonomically correct. The new adjustable riser is the second half of the IRP system. With the flip of a cam-lever, you can adjust your riser bar, eleven positions fore and aft, while rotating your handlebars infinitely within an 85 degree range. No longer will you have to ride with any weird handlebar angles or awkward brake or throttle lever positions.

The Jaguar comes standard with a 5-position adjustable height windshield. Operators will easily be able to unlock, reposition and lock the windshield without tools to increase wind protection while still maintaining a racy appearance lacking in traditional tall windshields.

Arctic Cat has a long lineage of class dominating trail handling history. The new Twin Spar chassis marks the first true rider forward position while our seventh generation AWS front suspension smoothes out the harshest trail conditions with the flattest cornering under power.

In every Arctic Cat lies a little racing heritage, like the rear Slide Action suspension system that has been race proven on Arctic Cat 440 Sno Pro sleds across the world.

2007 is definitely The Year of the Cat! New Cat styling, new performance refined 4-stroke power, new ergonomic technology and the best handling characteristics you’ve ever set cheeks on!
