Boss Racing Report From Valcourt

Saturday-Pro Stock

Weather was near 15 degrees and sunny with a good cold wind. Early in the week, the Team had made great suspension gains during testing in Winnipeg and further advanced that progress in Valcourt, Quebec. The Boss Racing team impressed everyone securing 8 of 12 holeshots Saturday.

Robbie Malinoski (#4) qualified 1st, 1st, and 3rd in his first 3 heats. Jeff Snow (#192) went 4th, 6th, 4th in his qualifying rounds and did not make the final.

During Saturday’s final round came into the first turn heavy in the carnage, riding out of the pack 6th he easily moved through the whoop section, passing three sleds and moving into 3rd place.

He remained in 3rd until the last two laps when the whoop section got the better of him, ejecting him off his now well dialed sled, leaving him 14th.

Sunday- Pro Open

During the modified class both Robbie and Jeff were hot. Robbie finishing 3rd, 2nd and 2nd in his 3 heats with Jeff going 2nd, 3rd, 4th. Both Riders started the final on the front row, with Jeff Snow securing the holeshot. He went wide; coming out of the first turn in 3rd.

Robbie came through sixth and immediately passed 3 guys on the first straight- again placing him 3rd. He diced back and forth with Levi LaVallee between 2nd and third.

Lap 22 Robbie had Levi; Lap 23 Levi passed Robbie leaving Robbie with a 3rd overall in the Mod Class for the weekend.
