Press Release –
Polaris Previews Strongest, Deepest Roster of Racers for Upcoming Snocross Season
Team Polaris Racing is in the midst of its most successful and productive off-season in recent years and has assembled the deepest roster of talented snocross racers who are hungry to win championships in the upcoming 2006-2007 race season.
So far, the impressive list of racers who will pilot a Polaris race sled has quite a bit of depth. It includes returning Team Polaris aces and newcomers to the Polaris brand who have cut their racing teeth and collected checkered flags on other brands of sleds.
“We need to keep everybody healthy but without a doubt we are the deepest manufacturer out there, there’s no doubt about it, especially with the addition of Shaun Crapo,” said Team Polaris Racing Manager Tom Rager, Sr.
Idaho native Crapo raced on Polaris sleds early in his career and competed as a Pro in recent seasons on Arctic Cat sleds. He has an East Coast counterpart in Danny Poirier, who is stepping off Ski-Doos to race on Polaris sleds for the Cycle Worx team on the Rock Maple Racing circuit.
“I’m just really excited to be back with Polaris,” said Crapo. “Everyone there is just great to work with, the team has a lot more depth and no doubt we’ll be a strong team this season.”
