In a dramatic move in the racing world, long time Ski-Doo cross country champion and snocross racer Todd Wolfe took his formerly yellow Hentges Racing Team to Polaris this spring.
Wolfe’s corps of riders and tractor trailers have all been painted in Polaris colors for the 2005 racing season.
This news comes as a bit of a shock as it was only one year ago Ski-Doo honored Todd’s retirement from racing by presenting him with a new sled, plaques and handshakes.
Wolfe’s name has been synonymous with Ski-Doo racing and his multiple I-500 cross country wins are part of a Ski-Doo’s racing legacy.
While Todd no longer races himself, his expertise, advice and ability to train drivers has got to be welcome at Polaris. Things change quickly in snocross!
